For some models this is a software update. In
this instance we connect our equipment to your cars on board
diagnostic socket and perform the upgrade. Other models may need a
hard ware upgrade. Suitable for Mercedes command systems and BMW 3
series, x5 and 7 series, Z4.
Where can i have TV unlocking done?
Depending on where you live and the vehicle we can usually perform
this at your work/residence or at a suitable meeting point.
What are the benefits
TVs are set at the factory to switch off
once the vehicle starts moving. This is either activated via the hand
brake or speed sensor. By unlocking the TV the TV will stay on whilst
the car is moving allowing the passengers to watch the TV uninterrupted.
How much does it cost?
Prices start from around £100 (for BMWs/Range
Rover and Rover 75) and vary according to the
model of car. Discounts may be available for multiple vehicles.
Additional charges may apply for call outs to outer areas to cover
additional fuel and travel time. Prices will always be confirmed at the
time of booking.
